Hero Hosiery

The shop stays pretty busy most days here in Gandhi Nagar. We have been at 544 Subhash Road for quite a while now and the street is always loud with people moving around. Being in the hosiery business means there are always boxes of socks and innerwear stacked up everywhere you look. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when new stock arrives but we manage to find space somehow. It is not a fancy place by any means. We just have our counters and the shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. Most mornings start with dusting everything off because the road outside gets really dusty with all the traffic. We see a lot of regular faces who have been coming to us for years. They know where we are tucked away on Subhash Road. It is just a normal work day for us mostly. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There is always some tea being shared and someone talking about the weather or the latest news. It is just how things go around here. We do not have any big speeches to give about what we do. We just sell what people need and try to keep things moving. The fans hum all day and we keep track of what is selling and what is sitting. It is simple work really and we just keep at it.
