Fruit Sapiens India Trading Privatelimited is based at A-415 in the lower ground floor of Defence Colony. Being in a basement office in New Delhi has its ups and downs. It stays cooler during those really hot summer days, which is a big plus for us. However, we don't get much natural light, so we have to rely on the overhead lamps all day long. Defence Colony is a nice neighborhood, and we like being located here. Our space is filled with desks, computers, and a lot of files. We are a trading company, so our work mostly involves a lot of communication and keeping track of market prices. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group of people who know the fruit trading business inside and out. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. If you come by, you'll probably just see us busy at our desks. Sometimes we have tea together and talk about how the day is going. It is a simple way of working, and it suits us just fine. We don't use complicated jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We just handle our trades and try to stay organized. The work can be repetitive sometimes, but we find it interesting to see how the market changes from day to day.
