Engineer

We set up our engineering spot in Malviya Nagar, over in the Khirki Extension area. We are right on the ground floor at Ja-21, which makes it easy to bring things in and out without having to deal with any elevators or stairs. It is a busy part of New Delhi, and there is always something going on right outside the door. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of people passing by every day. The space inside is pretty basic. We have our computers and some drafting tables set up where the light is best. It can get a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we try to keep the equipment clean. We don't have any receptionists or big waiting rooms because we are usually too busy working on projects to sit around. People usually just knock and come in. Khirki Extension has changed a lot since we first arrived, but our little corner has stayed mostly the same. We have a small kettle for making chai and some old chairs for when we need a break. It is a very hands-on environment. Sometimes we stay late when a job needs finishing, and the street outside is finally quiet. It feels like a good place to be an engineer because you are right in the heart of the city's hustle. We don't need much more than a solid roof and a good connection to do what we do.
