Empire Software Services is tucked away at 155-Defence Apartments on Rohtak Road. New Delhi-87 is a busy part of the city, and being near the main road means there is always something going on outside. The apartments are mostly residential, so our setup is pretty low-key. We do not have a big sign with blinking lights or anything like that. Inside, it is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of power cables. We do software work, which means a lot of quiet hours spent typing and testing. Sometimes the Delhi heat gets to be a lot, but we have the AC running and just keep going. It is not a fancy corporate park with a gym or a cafeteria. We usually just order something from the local shops or bring food from home. Working from an apartment block gives the place a different feel, more like a home than a stiff office. We have had some long nights here when a deadline was close, sitting around with too many empty cups of chai. It is a simple way to run a business, without all the extra layers you find in big companies. We know our neighbors, and we try not to make too much noise. It is just a small team trying to write good code and keep our clients from calling us with problems. We are just regular people doing our best in a busy city.
