You can find us over at Aradhna Apartments in RK Puram, specifically at number 24 in Sector 13. We’ve been running Elmas Tea House And Brasserie Llp from this spot for a while now. It’s a bit of a quiet corner of New Delhi compared to the main markets, which is actually quite nice for a tea house setup. We spend a lot of time figuring out the menu and making sure the kitchen side of things is running smoothly. It is a mix of tea and more substantial food, so there is always a pot of something going. The space in the apartment complex gives it a bit more of a local, lived-in feel than a shopping mall would. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the city, just a reliable one where the food is decent. Usually, you’ll find one of us fixing a table or checking on the supplies. It’s a lot of work keeping a brasserie going every day, but we like the pace of it. RK Puram is a solid neighborhood and we've gotten to know the people around here quite well. We don't have a team of marketing people writing stuff for us. We just do the cooking and the serving. It gets a bit crowded during the lunch hours, but that's how it goes. We just want to keep things going steadily. Sometimes we run out of things or a delivery is late, but we just deal with it as it happens without making a big fuss.
