Effects Architecture

Our office is located in the Sarbati Complex, right in the Jwala Hari Market of Paschim Vihar. We are up on the second floor, which is nice because it’s a little bit away from the main noise of the market downstairs. It’s a busy area though, and finding parking can be a real headache some days. We’ve got a lot of drawings and models scattered around the room. Architecture involves a lot of planning and looking at small details, so that’s where most of our energy goes. We don't have a big, polished studio like you see in movies. It’s just a regular office with a lot of light and some drafting tables. We spend a lot of time talking about walls and windows and how things fit together. Sometimes we’re out on sites, but usually, you can find us here in Paschim Vihar. The Sarbati Complex is an older building, so it has its quirks, but it works for us. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep the projects moving. It’s a lot of back and forth with different people, which can be tiring, but it's the job. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just trying to make sure the buildings we work on are solid and make sense for the people using them. It’s a steady kind of work and we like being in this neighborhood, even with the market crowds and the noise.
