We’ve been here at East Of Kailash for a while now, up on the second floor of this factory building in Garhi. It’s a busy spot, mostly filled with the sound of sewing machines and people moving rolls of fabric around all day. The space is number 198/3 and it’s where we spend most of our time. Usually, the morning starts with checking what orders need to get done and making sure the cutters have enough work to stay busy. It gets a bit crowded sometimes when new stock arrives, but we manage to keep things organized enough to find what we need. People from the neighborhood know us as just another local place making clothes. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workshop where the actual work happens. Sometimes the lights flicker or the stairs feel a bit steep after a long shift, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We handle a lot of different styles depending on what’s requested, and it keeps everyone on their toes. It’s not always quiet here, especially when the fans are going full blast in the summer heat, but it’s our space. We focus on getting the pieces finished correctly so they can go out to the shops or customers waiting for them. It’s simple work, really, just making sure the stitches are straight and the fabric looks right before it leaves the floor.
