You can find Dreamworks Developer Private Limited right in the heart of Hauz Khas Market. We are up on the third floor of building E-15, in Flat A-2. The market is always crowded and there is a lot of noise from the shops downstairs, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We do a lot of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into developing properties around South West Delhi. It is mostly about coordinating with architects, checking on permits, and making sure the sites are actually being managed properly. Sometimes things go wrong, like a permit taking way longer than it should, but that is just life in this industry. We are not a huge team. We have a few desks and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. People come in to discuss their projects and we sit around the table to figure out the logistics. Hauz Khas is an interesting place to work because it is such a mix of old and new. We see it all from our window. Our focus is really just on the day-to-day tasks of development. We do not have a big marketing department or anything like that. It is just us doing the actual work. We have had our share of late nights when a deadline is approaching. It can be stressful, but seeing a project actually get built makes it feel like we did something useful.
