Our office is over at 810 Lig in Uttam Nagar, which is a bit of a residential area in Delhi. It is a decent place to work because it is not as chaotic as the main commercial hubs, though it still gets quite lively. We do a lot of the same certification and standards work here as our other branches. It is mostly sitting at desks, answering emails, and going over reports. We have a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to filing away the heavy folders. The office itself is pretty basic. We have what we need, like computers and a decent printer, but we don't bother with expensive decorations. We think it is more important to get the work done right than to have a pretty office. People from the area sometimes come by to ask about how they can get their small businesses certified. We explain it to them in plain English without using a lot of jargon. It is nice being in this part of Delhi because you get to know the neighbors. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or work on the paperwork that doesn't need a computer. It is a simple life and we are happy with how things are running. We just keep working through our list each day.
