Dongxing Contractors Private Limited is a local business located over in the Kishan Ganj area of North Delhi. Our actual spot is 8638-39 Gali Firoz, right on Gaushala Marg. It’s a bit of an old-school neighborhood, and the streets can get narrow and crowded, especially when people are moving goods around. We do contracting work, which means we are often juggling five things at once. We’ve been based here near the G.P.O. for some time now. It’s a practical location for us because we can get to different parts of the city fairly easily, even with the traffic. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s where we keep our files, take calls, and try to organize the crews. Construction and contracting is a tough life. There’s always a shortage of something or a delay that wasn't expected. We just take it day by day. We don't use a lot of fancy technology; we prefer talking to people face to face or over the phone. If you walk down Gaushala Marg, you’ll see the rhythm of the place. We fit right in with the other shops and small businesses. It's noisy and dusty sometimes, but that’s just North Delhi. We are usually busy from early morning until late evening trying to make sure the current contracts are moving forward. We don’t have a marketing department; we just do the work and let that be that for now.
