Design Plus Architecture

Design Plus Architecture is based at House No-2, right near the C.P.W.D. Inquiry Office in Sector-8, R.K. Puram. It’s a very recognizable part of New Delhi, filled with those old government quarters and lots of green trees. Our office is in one of those older buildings that has a lot of character but also some drafty windows. Being so close to the inquiry office means there are always people moving around outside. We’ve got a lot of space inside, but it’s mostly filled with physical models and old blueprints that we can't bring ourselves to throw away. The light in the mornings is actually quite nice, but by the afternoon it gets a bit dim, so we have lamps everywhere. We don't have a corporate handbook or a dress code. Usually, we just show up and start working on whatever project is most urgent. R.K. Puram is a relatively quiet area compared to the rest of the city, which helps us stay focused. There’s a small garden area outside where we sometimes go to clear our heads when a design isn't coming together. The desks are always cluttered with pens, scales, and half-finished cups of tea. It’s an honest sort of workplace where the main goal is just to finish the day’s drawings. We’ve been here for a while and the place feels like a second home to most of us. We just keep the files moving and the pens busy.
