Design Heights

Our place, Design Heights, is on the ground floor of A-67 in Jawahar Park. This is on Deoli Road in New Delhi. We are quite close to the Dena Bank, which is the easiest way to tell people where we are. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just wander in, but we are usually pretty busy with drawings and layouts. The office is full of computers and large printers that are always humming. We do a lot of design work here, which involves a lot of sitting and staring at screens for hours. It’s not always exciting, but we try to get the details right. Jawahar Park is a busy spot, and the noise from Deoli Road usually filters in through the windows. We’ve been at this address for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a bit. We are just regular people who happen to be good at planning out spaces and making them look okay on paper before they get built. Sometimes the trash can gets full of crumpled-up ideas that didn't work out. It’s a lot of trial and error. We don't really go for anything corporate; we just wear our regular clothes and drink a lot of tea while we work. If you're near the bank, you’re basically there. We just focus on getting the designs finished so the clients can actually start their work. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us and we've been doing it like this for years now.
