Darzi Fashion Studio

Our studio is located at 147 Sfs Hauz Khas Apartments. It’s one of those Dda Flats in Delhi. Darzi Fashion Studio isn’t a big shop on a main road. We work out of this apartment space because it’s quieter. We have a couple of rooms set up with tables and sewing machines. It’s a bit different from a factory. It feels more personal. We spend a lot of time here, sometimes even on weekends. The neighbors are used to us by now. Hauz Khas is a nice area, even if our part is just regular flats. We don't have a big sign outside. Most people find us because someone told them about us. We do a lot of measuring and fitting in the front room. The back is where the real work happens. It’s often cluttered with patterns and scraps of cloth. We try to keep it organized but it’s hard when you’re busy. Delhi weather can be tough, so we have a couple of fans going all day. We just focus on making things look right. It’s not a fancy boutique with mirrors everywhere. It’s just a studio where we work. Darzi Fashion Studio is just us doing what we know. It's a steady pace most of the time. We try to finish our work before it gets too dark outside in the evening hours. Sometimes we stay late when we have to, just to make sure the work gets done correctly.
