Defence

Our office is tucked away on the second floor of D2/98 in Janakpuri. Being in New Delhi means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside, but once you climb up the stairs to our floor, it gets a bit quieter. We’ve been running Defence from this spot for a while now. It’s a practical space. We have enough room for our equipment and a couple of chairs for when someone visits. Janakpuri is a big area, so having a fixed spot here helps us stay grounded. We don't really do much in the way of marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. It’s just us doing the work we know how to do. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up fine. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working at our computers. It's a regular job for us. Some days we stay late to finish up, and other days we head out as soon as the sun goes down. We don't have a big team, so everyone knows exactly what they need to do. It’s a small, local operation. We like the independence of being here on the second floor. It feels like our own little world in the middle of a very busy city. We hope to stay in Janakpuri as long as the building owner lets us keep the space. It suits us perfectly.
