Daps Kitchen Llp is tucked away in Safdarjung Enclave, at B 4/219 on the top floor. If you’ve ever been to this part of South Delhi, you know it’s a mix of nice houses and busy little spots. Being on the top floor means we get a bit of a breeze, but it also means a lot of trips up and down the stairs for everyone. We’re not a big company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us who handle everything from the cooking to the cleaning. We don't have a polished office or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door or the phone is the one who answers. The kitchen gets pretty hot in the summer, and we’re always shuffling things around to make more space. We started this because we liked the idea of having our own place in the Enclave. It’s a lot of work, and usually, our hands are full with something. We don't really have time for fancy mission statements or corporate talk. We just want to make sure the food tastes right and goes out on time. Sometimes we make mistakes, or a delivery takes longer than we thought, but we always try to fix it. It’s just a local kitchen run by people who actually care about what they’re doing. We’re just here in Safdarjung, doing our thing every day.
