You can find Cyclemann Clothing India Private Limited over in Laxmi Nagar. We’re up on the 4th floor of building 227 in Guru Angad West. Being in East Delhi means it’s always busy outside, which keeps us on our toes. The lift works most of the time, which is a blessing because the 4th floor is quite a climb when you're carrying rolls of fabric or heavy bags of samples. We’ve been working from this specific space for a bit now. It’s mostly sewing machines and stacks of paper patterns everywhere you look. The lighting isn't great in the back corner, so we had to put an extra lamp there recently so we could see the stitching better. It's a real place where people are actually cutting and sewing things throughout the day. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest or has clean hands picks it up. Some days the humidity makes the fabric act funny, and we all just have to sit there and figure out how to fix the tension on the machines. It’s a small team of us. We eat lunch together on the big cutting table once it’s cleared off. Laxmi Nagar is a crowded place, but it feels like home to us now. We just focus on making the clothes and getting them sent out on time. There isn't much fluff here. Just thread, some old chairs, and a lot of work. We try to stay on top of it.
