Craig Apparels Private Limited

Craig Apparels Private Limited is based out of Flat No. 201 in Sector A, Pocket B of Vasant Kunj. It’s more of a residential-style setup which we’ve turned into our workspace. Vasant Kunj is a quieter part of Delhi compared to the markets, which we like. The room is mostly taken up by racks of clothes and some sewing equipment. We’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time, so it felt natural to start the business here. It’s not a shop where you can just walk in from the street. We usually work by appointment or just focus on the bulk orders we have to send out. There are three of us who are here most days. The balcony gives us a bit of air when things get stuffy with all the fabric around. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching and making sure the zippers work right. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but that’s just how it is in Delhi. We just sit and wait or do the manual stuff until it comes back. It’s a relaxed environment, but we do take the work seriously. We don’t have fancy job titles. We all just pitch in where it's needed, whether that’s packing boxes or answering the phone. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. Sometimes we have tea together before the evening shift starts.
