COMPETENT INFRATECH PRIVATE LIMITED is run out of the ground floor at number 252 in Sant Nagar. It is an older part of Delhi, and the building has been around for quite some time. The office is pretty basic, but it serves its purpose for what we do every day. We handle a lot of infrastructure-related tasks, which means we are often busy with technical details and making sure supplies are where they need to be. The space belonged to the family of the late Sh Nazar Singh, so there is a bit of history there for us. It is not like those shiny new offices you see in the corporate parks. Our walls are a bit plain, and the furniture is just stuff that works. Sant Nagar is always buzzing with people and scooters, so there is never a dull moment outside the door. We usually have the door open to let some air in if the weather is okay. Working in this part of New Delhi means we are close to our suppliers and the people we hire for different jobs. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. Most people find us because they know someone we worked with before. It’s just a small team of us here, and we mostly focus on keeping the projects on track. We drink a lot of chai and spend a lot of time on our mobile phones coordinating things with the crews at the various sites.
