We’re way up on the 11th floor of the Surya Kiran Building. It’s on K G Marg, right in the heart of Connaught Place. Being in room 1109 gives us a pretty good view of the city, even if we’re usually too busy to look out the window. Working in CP is a bit of a challenge with the parking and the crowds, but it’s where everything happens. Cipriani Homes has been in this spot for a while. We spend our days dealing with home projects and all the paperwork that comes with them. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with different people. Our office is a bit crowded with files and samples, but we know where everything is. We don't go in for fancy talk or slick presentations. We just tell people how it is and what we can do. Some days the phones don't stop ringing, and other days it’s quiet enough to actually get some planning done. We have a small crew here, and we’ve all been in the business long enough to know the hurdles. Building or fixing up homes in a city like this is never a straight line. There’s always something that needs adjusting. We just stay here in our office and try to keep the wheels turning. It’s a decent place to work, even if the commute into Central Delhi is a bit much some mornings when the traffic is bad.
