Located over in Sector C, Pocket 6/7 of Vasant Kunj, Chicos Fashions Llp is where we spend all our time. The address is 6315, and it’s a spot we’ve grown quite fond of over the months. Vasant Kunj has a specific kind of energy, and we’re right in the middle of it. Our workspace is usually a bit cluttered with sketches and fabric swatches because we’re always in the middle of some project or another. We aren't big on formal meetings or wearing suits; it's more about getting the job done and making sure the garments look right. My brother often handles the logistics while I stay on the floor checking the quality of the stitching. We get a lot of local foot traffic nearby, though most of our work happens behind the scenes. The air conditioner in the back room makes a strange rattling noise sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it. Lunch is usually something picked up from the nearby stalls or brought from home in steel tiffins. It’s a busy life but we wouldn't have it any other way. There's always someone coming in to ask for directions or a delivery guy looking for the right block. We try to keep things organized, but in a fashion business, there’s always a little bit of chaos. That’s just part of the charm of working in this part of Delhi. It might not look like much to an outsider, but it's where our best work happens.
