If you know New Delhi, you know how these streets can get, especially when deliveries are coming in or out. We’ve been operating from here for a good bit of time. Most of the time, the place is full of rolls of fabric and people trying to find where they put the scissors. It’s a bit crowded, but we manage to get things done. We don’t spend much time on decorations or looking professional in that corporate way. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’d rather spend the money on better needles or fixing the lights over the workstations. It’s mostly just us working through piles of orders. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit on the steps for a bit until it comes back. That’s just life in Sagar Pur. We deal with all kinds of clothes. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the deadlines feel a bit tight, but we haven't missed one yet. If you’re looking for a fancy showroom, this isn't it. We’re just a bunch of people who know how to put a garment together without making a fuss about it. We stay late most Fridays to clear the backlog before the weekend to make sure we stay on track.
