Cafe Coffee Day

We are located at 84-A in the Swadeshi Market part of Sadar Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know it’s one of the busiest places you could ever find yourself in. Cafe Coffee Day here is a bit of a relief from all the noise outside in the market. We’ve got this spot right in the middle of all the chaos of the shops and stalls. It’s not a huge place, but it’s where we spend our whole day. We see a lot of people who look exhausted from their shopping, and they just need a place to sit for a minute. The market outside is always full of people shouting and carrying goods, so inside here, it feels like a different world sometimes. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the rush and making sure we have enough stock for the next wave of people. It’s a lot of work to keep a place going in such a crowded area. We don’t have a fancy story to tell. We’re just here at 84-A, opening up every morning and closing down when the market finally goes quiet at night. The staff here is mostly local, and we just try to keep things moving. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we do our best to keep it comfortable. Sometimes the supply trucks have a hard time reaching us because of the narrow streets, but we make it work somehow. Even on the rainy days, the market is still packed, so we stay busy regardless of the weather outside. It’s just how things are here.
