Cafe Coffee Day

This Cafe Coffee Day is located at House No: L-124 in the J. J. Colony of Wazirpur, Delhi. It is not like the big fancy cafes you see in the malls. This one is right in the heart of the colony, so we get a lot of locals dropping by. The building is a regular house that has been converted a bit to fit the coffee shop. It is often quite busy with people from the neighborhood coming in for a quick drink or to sit for a while. The street outside is usually full of activity, with kids playing and people heading to the markets. Inside, it smells like coffee and toasted bread. The furniture has seen some better days, but it is comfortable enough for a chat. We have a small staff who knows many of the regulars by name. It is a bit loud sometimes when the espresso machine is running and people are talking over each other. We don't have much space for big decorations, so we just keep it clean and simple. Working here means you see a bit of everything that happens in Wazirpur. It is a grounded place where you can just get a cup of coffee without any fuss. We open up early and stay open until the colony starts to quiet down for the night. It is just a regular part of life for us here, serving the community one cup at a time.
