C P Kukreja Architects

Our office is tucked away on the third floor of the Ashirwad Complex, specifically at D-1 in Green Park. If you are familiar with Delhi, you probably know the area near Uphaar Cinema. It’s a landmark that everyone uses to find us. C P Kukreja Architects has been operating from here for quite some time. The office itself is full of long tables, rolls of tracing paper, and a lot of architectural models that have gathered a bit of dust over the months. We don’t really go in for the whole polished, corporate look. It’s more of a working space where things get done. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons looking at site plans. The traffic on the main road can be pretty loud, but once you’re up on the third floor, it’s a bit more manageable. We have a small pantry where we make our own coffee and tea. It’s a very hands-on environment. We deal with a lot of technical stuff that would probably bore most people, like building codes and structural loads. But that is what we do. We aren't here to give anyone a sales pitch. We just take on the work that comes our way and try to make sense of the spaces we’re designing. It’s a lot of sitting in front of screens and walking around with measuring tapes. We’re just a group of people who enjoy the process of putting a building together on paper.
