Our setup is located out in Bijwasan, New Delhi, at Khasra No. 141. We’re in the basement of House Number 854. Brand Knock Apparels is a bit of a mouthful of a name, but we just call it the shop. It’s a bit far out for some people, but we like the space we have here. Working in a basement has its ups and downs. It’s quiet, which is good for getting things done, but you do lose track of time since there’s no sunlight. We spend our days surrounded by sewing machines and rolls of cloth. It’s a very hands-on environment. Most of the staff live nearby, so it’s a bit like a neighborhood gathering every morning. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. The floors are concrete and the lights are those long fluorescent tubes. It’s a place for production. We focus on getting the orders out the door and making sure the seams don't rip. We’ve been at this Bijwasan address for some time now. It’s a straightforward operation. No big speeches, no complicated plans. We just show up, do the work, and head home. That’s about all there is to it. The area is a bit dusty with all the construction around, but we manage. It's just part of being out here on the edge of the city.
