So, Bird Infotech Services is basically sitting right in Gole Market. If you know New Delhi at all, you know that Mandir Marg is always busy and full of people. The address is 23/277, and it's one of those older spots with a lot of history. The building has been here for a long time, way before I started. I usually walk from the metro or take a rickshaw if I’m feeling a bit lazy in the heat. The office is full of computers and cables all over the place, it’s a bit of a mess sometimes. It’s not very fancy, just a few sturdy tables and chairs where we sit all day doing our work. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually the highlight for most of us here. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy because of the traffic and the horns outside, but you just get used to it after a week. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and talking to people on the phone. There is no big lobby or a receptionist or anything like that. Just a plain door and some narrow stairs. If the elevator is broken, which happens more than it should, we just take the stairs. It keeps us moving I guess. We have a small pantry in the back where someone left an old microwave. Most of us just bring lunch from home or grab something quick from downstairs. It's just a regular job.
