Our office is located at K-56-E in Mahipalpur. It is one of those spots in New Delhi that always feels like it is in the middle of everything because of the traffic and the noise from the nearby roads. Bird Infotech Services Pvt Ltd isn't some corporate headquarters with a lobby and a receptionist. It is just a few of us working in a room filled with cables and old monitors. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and figuring out the schedule for the day. Mahipalpur can be a bit overwhelming with all the hotels and people moving around, but inside our space, it is mostly quiet until the phones start ringing. The walls are painted a standard off-white and there are some stacks of boxes in the corner that we haven't moved in months. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, which is good for seeing when the delivery guys arrive. We just do the work that comes in. There is no big philosophy behind it; we just show up, handle the tech stuff, and head home when the day is finished. Sometimes the internet acts up, which is ironic given what we do, but we manage to get through it. It is an honest way to spend the day, and we like being part of the local scene here in this part of Delhi.
