Shree Pashmina House

Over on Church Road in Bhogal, you’ll find us at Shree Pashmina House. It’s a small place. However, we keep it full of different shawls and fabrics. Pashmina is what we do. We’ve been doing it for quite a long time now. The shop is tucked away. You have to look for it. We don’t have any of those expensive advertisements or big billboards. Most of our customers are people who live around Bhogal or heard about us from their family. We spend our days sorting through the pieces. We have to make sure they are stored properly. It’s a lot of work to keep everything from getting wrinkled. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we have so much stock, but we like having a lot of options. We aren’t salesmen in the traditional sense. We just show you the wool and let you feel it. If you like it, you buy it. If not, that’s fine too. We often have a cup of tea while we work. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. The traffic on Church Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but inside the shop, it stays relatively calm. We are just local people running a local shop. It’s a simple life and we enjoy the interactions with the folks who walk through our door. We’ve been here for years. We’ll probably stay.
