Down at K-54 Sector 1, we run Sunrise Polymer Industries. We are actually a unit of Tridev Polymer Industries, so there’s a bit of history behind how we started. This factory floor is where everything happens. We work with different types of plastics and polymers to make various items that people use every day. It’s not the quietest environment, but we’re used to the hum of the machines by now. Most of our staff have been with us for years, so we all know how the equipment behaves on a good day and a bad day. We spend a lot of time checking the raw materials that come in to make sure they are right for the melting process. There’s no big corporate vibe here; it’s just a group of people in boots and overalls getting things done. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just the production area and a small office for the paperwork. If you come by, you’ll probably see us moving pallets around or checking the cooling systems. It’s practical work that requires some patience, especially when a mold doesn't behave. We’ve been in this sector for a long time and we know the rhythms of the industrial park. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big ads. We just make sure the products are solid and that the orders get shipped out to the people waiting for them on time.
