Khandelwal Plastics

Khandelwal Plastics is situated right in the middle of the Anand Parbat Industrial Area at Hr- 7 on Street No. 10. This part of the city is always loud and dusty because of all the factories and the trucks moving through the narrow streets. We spend most of our time dealing with plastic goods, which means there are always big bags or stacks of containers taking up all the space in the shop. It gets incredibly hot in here during the summer because of the metal roofs nearby, and we just have a small fan that mostly moves the warm air around. My day is mostly spent checking the stock and talking to the workers who come in to drop things off or pick them up. It’s a messy business and your hands are rarely clean by the time lunch rolls around. We don't have a fancy showroom, just a functional space where we get the work done. Sometimes the street gets so blocked with vehicles that we can't even get our own deliveries out on time, which is frustrating but that's just life here. We’ve been in this street for a while now and we know all the other shop owners nearby. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but it’s what we know. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the orders.
