Barista Coffee Co. Ltd.

This is Barista Coffee Co. Ltd. over at 1/2494, Street No-2 on Moti Ram Road in Shahdara, Delhi. If you know Shahdara, you know it is a place that never really stops moving. We are right there in the middle of it. Our office is where all the planning for the coffee business happens. It’s not a cafe itself, but more of the behind-the-scenes spot. We have stacks of papers and maps of the city on the walls. It can get pretty frantic here when we are trying to coordinate things. Moti Ram Road is always busy with traffic and people, so there is a lot of noise from outside. We are a team of folks who just really care about coffee and how we get it to people. We aren't fancy executives; we are mostly in jeans and shirts, just working through the logistics. The building at 1/2494 isn't brand new, but it has everything we need. We’ve got a little area for tasting different blends, which is probably the best part of the office. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power flickers, but that is just life in Delhi. We don't spend much time on fancy speeches. We just focus on the beans and the shops. Being in Shahdara gives us a good sense of the real city. It keeps us grounded while we deal with the daily grind of running a coffee company from this little office in Street No-2.
