Azeem Traders. We are based in J-5 Street, Kucha Rehman. It’s right near the Town Hall in Chandni Chowk. You know how it is in Old Delhi—narrow streets, lots of people, and tons of history. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The building is old, with high ceilings and thick walls. We trade in various goods. Most of the day is spent unloading crates or checking invoices. It’s loud outside with the honking and the shouting, but inside Kucha Rehman, it feels like a different world. We have a small bench outside where we sit when the weather is nice. We know all the neighbors. Most of our business is done through word of mouth. We don't use much technology, just a ledger and a basic phone. The stairs up to the storage area are quite steep. My back hurts after a long day of moving boxes. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a big old cooler that hums all day. It’s a traditional way of doing business. We value the relationships we’ve built over decades. Chandni Chowk is our home. We’ve seen it change so much, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. It’s honest work, and it keeps us connected to the heart of the city. We keep the shop open until late and start again early every single day without many complaints.
