Amit Building Material Store

Amit Building Material Store is situated at Plot No. 999 in the Dda Flats area of Kalkaji. We are right opposite the Raghunath Temple Sector and very close to the 429 bus stand. Being near the bus stand means there is always a lot of noise and people walking past our front gate. We have piles of sand, bricks, and other building supplies sitting out in the open. It is a bit of a messy business, but that is the nature of construction materials. The ground is usually covered in grit and the bags of cement are stacked as high as we can get them. We spend our days helping people load up their small trucks or rickshaws with whatever they need for their home repairs. It is a busy spot, especially on weekends when everyone decides to fix something at once. The temple across the way provides a bit of a nice view, even if we are mostly looking at stacks of tiles or pipes. We have a small cabin where we sit to handle the money and the receipts. It is cramped and usually full of samples that people have left behind. We don't have any polished floors or bright lights. It’s just a local store for the folks in Kalkaji who need to get some work done and want to buy their materials from someone nearby without making it complicated.
