Aries Fashion

Aries Fashion is tucked away in a corner of New Delhi. We don't have a big flashy storefront on a main road, so it’s mostly just us and the regulars who know the way. The city is always loud and fast-paced, but inside here, things are a bit more focused and quiet. We have a routine that we follow every single morning. Someone opens up the metal shutters, gets the lights on, and we start looking at the list for the day. It’s a lot of measuring and cutting fabrics. We go through a lot of tailors' chalk and pins in a normal week. The space is a bit messy because we always have five different things happening at once. There are scraps of fabric on the floor and half-empty water bottles sitting on the work tables. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor or the furniture. It’s just a place where we come to work and make things that people wear. The fans hum all afternoon to keep the air moving, and we talk about whatever is on the news or what we’re planning for dinner. It's a regular job for regular people. New Delhi is a huge place with millions of people, but our little shop feels small and familiar to everyone who works here. We know the guy who brings the mail and the lady who sells snacks down the street near the corner. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know how to do.
