We are based in Nehru Place, specifically at number 20 in Eros Apartment. It’s at number 56. Nehru Place is usually a very busy area with a lot of people looking for electronics or heading to offices. Our office for the Apparel Exporters & Manufacturers Association is a bit tucked away in the apartment complex. It’s not your typical glass-and-steel office building. It feels a bit more lived-in. We have a few rooms where the staff works. A lot of our time is spent talking to manufacturers and helping exporters figure out their problems. It’s a lot of communication. We don't have a factory here or anything; it’s all office-based work. The desks are usually covered in files and different trade magazines. Sometimes the noise from the street below filters up, but we are used to it. Nehru Place has a lot of places to eat, so lunch is never a problem. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The association has a long history, and this office is where it all happens. We don't have any fancy lobby or receptionists in suits. It’s just us doing the work that needs to be done. We stay busy with the members and their needs. It's a plain, honest workspace where we just get on with the day’s tasks. We keep the lights on and keep working until the sun goes down and the crowds leave.
