Amitkumar

My name is Amitkumar and this is just my small place here in RK Puram. New Delhi is always moving fast and loud, but this little corner at 253A stays mostly the same throughout the year. It is a bit of an older part of the city in some ways, but it feels like home to me. I've been at this address for a good bit now. It is just a regular building, nothing special to look at from the outside, just bricks and paint like everything else on the street. The noise of the city is always there in the background, a low hum of engines and voices, but you get used to it after a week or two of being here. I spend most of my time here dealing with whatever comes through the door or whatever paperwork is piled on the desk. It isn't a huge corporate setup with a front desk or people in fancy suits. It’s just me and the space I have. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because the numbers on the street are a bit confusing for new delivery drivers. But 253A is where I am. I keep things organized as best as I can, though sometimes things get a bit messy when I am busy. It's a practical spot for someone living and working in Delhi. You don't need much more than a roof and a door that locks. The neighbors are mostly quiet people going about their business. I like it that way. No drama, just getting through the day.
