Amarjit Singh Chowdhary

Amarjit Singh Chowdhary works out of Delhi High Court Lawyers Chambers 215. This is a very busy place where lawyers and their clerks are always running around the corridors. Our chamber at 215 is not very large, and it is mostly filled with bookshelves that go all the way to the ceiling. There are stacks of files on the desk and sometimes even on the floor when we have a lot of cases going on. It is not a polished office like you might see on television. It is a working space where the paint is peeling a bit and the furniture is quite old. We spend most of our time here reading through legal documents and writing down notes for the court. We do not have a big staff or a marketing team to promote what we do. People find us because they have heard about our work from others at the High Court. We do not make any big promises; we just look at the facts and do the best we can with the law. Sometimes we stay very late in chamber 215 when a case is particularly difficult. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a small kettle for making tea. It is a tough and serious way to work, but it is what we have been doing for years. We do not try to act corporate; we are just legal professionals doing our daily jobs in a crowded environment.
