Ahanjyayas

Ahanjyayas is tucked away at 341/12/B on Street No 5. It is not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it, but the locals know the turn near the big tree. The office is just a small room with a few chairs and a table where we spend most of our mornings. We usually start the day by opening the windows to get some air in, though it gets a bit dusty from the street outside. There is a small cupboard in the corner where we keep all the files, and it’s getting a bit full these days. Most of our time is spent talking to people who drop by or answering the phone when it decides to work properly. We have a small kettle for making tea, which is probably the most used thing in the whole place. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to that yet because we are always busy with something else. On rainy days, the water tends to splash against the door, so we have to keep a rug there to soak it up. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to keep things organized and moving forward. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the gate that says the name. People often stop by just to ask for directions to the next street, and we don't mind helping them out.
