We are tucked away at 2041 Pilanji in the Kotla Mubarakpur area of New Delhi, zip code 03. If you know this part of Delhi, you know the lanes can be a bit tight and it is always crowded with shoppers and people moving about. Our building is right in the middle of all that noise. Aegis Bpo has been operating from this spot for some time now. It is a practical location because everything is close by, though finding parking is a nightmare most days. The office itself is pretty simple. We have the usual computers, some old chairs, and a lot of wires tucked away under the desks. It is not the kind of place you see in movies, but it is where we spend our eight or nine hours a day. We handle various backend tasks and phone work. Sometimes the noise from the street drifts in, but you get used to it after a week or two. There is a small shop downstairs that makes really good tea, so that is a big plus for the afternoon slump. We do not have any big signs or anything, just a small nameplate maybe. It is just a group of us trying to keep things organized and making sure the work gets finished before the shift ends. It is a very normal, everyday kind of workplace where we just focus on the tasks at hand without any extra fuss.
