Access Education

We are based at the South Delhi Polytechnic in Lajpat Nagar 4. It’s a well-known area in New Delhi, and being inside the polytechnic gives the place a certain feel. Access Education has been part of this environment for some time. We aren’t a giant institution; we are a small group of people working from a few rooms. The desks are often piled with papers, books, and various forms. It feels like a place where learning actually happens rather than just a corporate office. We spend a lot of time talking to people who come through the doors looking for information. Our days are filled with answering questions and organizing schedules. It can get a bit loud during the breaks when students are moving around in the hallways, but we don’t mind. It keeps us feeling energetic. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just focus on helping the people who come to us. Our furniture is a bit mismatched and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a comfortable place to work. We grab tea from the same vendor every day and know most of the people in the building. It’s a very grounded way to work in education. We just try to be useful and keep things organized so everyone knows what they’re doing.
