Abhay Sharma

My name is Abhay Sharma and this is where I work, right here in Shahdara, Delhi. The exact spot is 1/11152-A on Street Number 11 in Subhash Park. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded and noisy, but that’s just how Delhi is. I’ve been around this neighborhood for a long time. The office isn't much to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose. I usually get in early before the heat starts to really pick up. There’s a lot of traffic on the main roads nearby, so Street 11 feels a little tucked away compared to that. I handle everything myself or with a bit of help when needed. It’s mostly just paperwork and talking to people who drop by. The walls are a bit plain and the furniture is old, but it works for what I need to do. Shahdara has a specific feel to it, very lived-in and busy. My neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families who have been here for decades. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, people find us by word of mouth or by looking for the specific house number. It’s a simple life here in Subhash Park. I don’t think I’d want to be anywhere else because I know every corner of this street. It feels right to be part of the local community and keep things going year after year, just doing my part in this big city.
