In the middle of Subhash Nagar in Roorkee, you’ll find our office at C-139. We’ve been in this part of Uttaranchal for a good long time now. The building is just a normal house that we converted into a workspace for our Abb operations. It’s got a very lived-in feel to it. There are trees outside that give some nice shade during the hot summer months. Most of us here have roots in Roorkee, so we aren't strangers to the people who walk past every day. We don’t do much in the way of marketing or big public events. We just focus on the engineering and technical work that comes our way. The rooms are filled with computers, some old manuals, and usually a few cups of tea that someone forgot to finish. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we have our own system and it works for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with glass walls or expensive furniture. We just want to get the job done and go home to our families in the evening. Some days are slow and we just chat about local news, while other days we are working late to finish up a project. It’s a steady life here in Subhash Nagar, and we’re quite happy with that. We plan to keep things running just like this for as long as we can.
