St. Joseph'S College Of Nursing

St. Joseph'S College Of Nursing is located right in Dargamitta in Nellore. If you walk down the main road you really cannot miss the place. It is always a bit hectic around here because nursing is a tough job and the students are always running between their classes and the practical work. The building smells like floor cleaner most of the time which I suppose is a good thing for a medical place. We have a lot of young women here living in the hostel who are studying hard to become nurses one day. You see them in their white uniforms early every morning heading to their stations. Sometimes the canteen runs out of the good snacks by noon which is a bit of a tragedy for the staff. We do not have a big fancy gate or anything like that just a regular entrance where the watchman sits and greets people. It is a quiet enough spot in Andhra Pradesh but inside the walls it is never really silent. There is always someone practicing how to take blood pressure or checking their charts. The teachers here have been doing this for years and they do not have much patience for laziness or being late. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the students know their stuff. It is not like those big corporate places you see on TV it is just a steady working place for real people.
