Priyadarshini College Of Engineering & Technology is out in Kanuparthi, Nellore. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, but that actually makes it a lot quieter for the students who study here. We have a fairly large campus because engineering courses need plenty of space for labs and different workshops. The buildings are plain, painted in colors that don't show the red dust too much. We have students coming here from all over the Nellore district. Most of the time, the halls are filled with the sound of ceiling fans and students talking about their latest projects. It’s a very practical kind of place. We have labs with machines that have been used by many batches of students over the years. They aren't brand new, but they work perfectly fine for learning the basics. We don't have a lot of fancy lounge areas or air-conditioned rooms. People come here to get their degrees and hopefully find a good job afterward. The canteen is the main spot where everyone hangs out between the classes to get some tea or snacks. It gets pretty hot in Kanuparthi during the summer months, so everyone tries to stay indoors as much as possible. We just focus on the daily schedule of lectures and lab work. There’s always someone fixing a computer or organizing some paperwork in the front office. It’s just a regular engineering college doing its work here in the 524345 area. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk.
