So, we are over at Hsc No-47 in the E. Railway Quartes in Kavali. It’s a pretty busy spot with the trains coming through at all hours, but you get used to the sound after a while. Most days, we just come in, get the fan going because it gets really hot in this part of Andhra, and start on whatever needs doing. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a few rooms where we keep our stuff and sit down to work. My cousin helped me move the heavy desks in last summer, and we haven’t really changed much since then. People sometimes have a hard time finding the exact door because the numbers in the railway quarters can be a bit confusing if you aren’t from around here. We have a small sign, but it’s faded a bit from the sun. Usually, if someone is looking for Lectur, they just ask the neighbor who sells tea around the corner. We spend a lot of time just drinking that tea and talking about the day before we get back to it. There isn't any big secret to how we run things. We just show up every morning, open the windows to let some air in, and try to get through the pile of work on the table. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, but that’s just life in Kavali. We don't mind too much.
