College Of Fishery Science

Down on Muthukur Road in Nellore, you’ll find the College Of Fishery Science. We’re located at 4-7-2, which is a pretty easy spot to get to if you’re in the 524001 area. Since we deal with fishery science, things are a little different here compared to a regular arts college. There’s a lot of focus on water, fish, and how all that works. It’s a specific kind of place for a specific kind of student. The campus has its own rhythm, mostly based around the lab schedules and the practical work out in the field. Nellore has a lot of history with this kind of stuff, so it makes sense for us to be here. The buildings are just standard, nothing too flashy or modern. We spend more time worrying about the actual work than how the front gate looks. Students here are usually pretty busy with their hands-on projects. You might see them coming in with boots or gear after a day of practicals. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. We don’t have a lot of corporate polish or big marketing teams. We just have a bunch of people who are interested in fisheries and a staff that keeps the lights on and the classes running. It’s been our home for a long time now. We aren't doing anything grand, just teaching the science behind the fish business and keeping the tanks clean for the next lessons.
