Govardhan Travels

If you’re around Balajinagar in Nellore, you’ve probably walked past us a few times. We are at Shop No 1 on Park Road, right in that Childrenspark area. It’s a busy little corner. You can hear the kids playing in the park sometimes when the windows are open and the breeze is right. Govardhan Travels is the name we’ve had for a while now. It’s a pretty simple operation. I usually get here early in the morning to check on the vehicles and make sure the drivers are ready to go. The 524002 area is quite central, so we get a lot of foot traffic. People are always popping in to ask about ticket prices or how long it takes to get to the next town. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. The shop itself is small, but it’s enough for what we do. Sometimes the traffic on Park Road gets a bit backed up, and it’s noisy with all the horns honking, but you get used to it after a few years. We just try to stay honest with people about the timings and the costs. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running smoothly, especially with the heat here in Nellore. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. It’s nothing fancy, just a regular local travel spot where we try to help out as much as we can.
