This hospital is right on Mosquee Street in the Balaji Nagar area of Nellore. I have been working around here for a while, and it is always a hive of activity from the moment the sun comes up. You see all sorts of people coming through these doors, most of them looking worried or tired. My day usually starts with the sound of the morning prayers from the mosque nearby, and then it is straight into the thick of things. The hallways have that particular smell of disinfectant that you never really get used to. It is a big building, and sometimes it feels like a maze if you do not know your way around. We have a lot of doctors and nurses running back and forth, and the lobby is almost always full of families waiting for news. Balaji Nagar can get really crowded with scooters and autos, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is out. I spend a lot of time helping people find the right department or just making sure the paperwork is in order. It is a stressful environment, no doubt about it, but you see a lot of life here too. Sometimes it is hard to leave the work at the door when you go home at night. Nellore is a warm place, and the hospital can get pretty stuffy when the air conditioning is struggling. We just do what we can to keep things moving and help the people who show up.
