Vasudev Jewelers

We are the first shop you see when you come into Pranav Chembars, right near the Madhumati area. It’s a convenient spot because people don’t have to go searching through the whole building to find us. Vasudev Jewelers is a small place, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside our four walls. We spend a lot of our time looking through magnifying glasses at small stones or fixing clasps that have stopped working properly. It’s detailed work and can be a bit hard on the eyes after a few hours of staring at gold. The shop gets a lot of light from the front, which helps when we are showing pieces to customers. We’ve known some of the families who shop with us for years, and now their kids come in too when they need something. It’s nice to have that kind of connection with the people in the neighborhood. Sometimes the street outside gets really jammed with traffic, especially in the late evenings, but inside it stays relatively calm. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait for a repair or look through the trays we bring out. We don’t use any fancy sales tactics or anything like that. We just show what we have and let the items speak for themselves. It’s an honest way to make a living and we appreciate the people who stop by. Every day is a bit different here depending on who walks in.
