Sarovar Kathiyawadi Hotel

We are right on the National Highway 8 in Navsari. If you are driving towards the Grid Cross Road, you will see us. We focus on Kathiyawadi food because that is what we know how to cook. It is a roadside hotel, so it is mostly for travelers and truck drivers who need a heavy meal. We have a lot of space for parking out front. The seating is basic, mostly long tables where people can sit and eat quickly. We do not have air conditioning in the main area, just big fans to keep the air moving. The food is spicy and oily, just like it is supposed to be. We use a lot of garlic and green chillies in the kitchen. My brothers and I run the place. We start early in the morning to get the dal and vegetables ready. The kitchen is open where you can see what is happening. It is a bit dusty because of the highway traffic, but we sweep a few times a day. We do not have a fancy menu card, just the usual items we make every day. People stop here because they know they will get a full stomach for a fair price. We have been at this spot for a long time. There is another place with a similar name nearby, but we are the one right by the grid. We just keep serving food until the last traveler leaves the highway for the night.
